Before boarding
- Save a photocopied version of your passport for your family.
- Remember to take all important papers: passport, plane ticket, money, admission letter, and make sure your personal items are with you.
- Pack all items that require customs check into a separate bag.
- Put 2 photocopies of the front side of your passport and visa in each bag.
- Close and lock all your bags and attach/glue your bag tags including your name, address and contacts in New Zealand.
Note: You should choose spinner luggage of moderate size.
While studying in New Zealand
- Open a domestic bank account in New Zealand to save your money.
- New Zealand schools often offer free airport shuttle services for new international students. Please notify the school in advance of your landing time so that they can make arrangements.
