Entry Requirements

Foundation Program

The program is designed to help international students have the same knowledge base as Year 12 students in Australia before entering a Bachelor's program.

  • End of grade 11, GPA >= 6.0; or graduated from high school with a GPA >= 5.0.
  • IELTS 5.5 (no band score below 5.0).

College program (First year of University)

After completing the program, students can start working or transfer to a bachelor's degree program in the second year of university.

  • Course duration: 8 months (accelerated), 12 months (standard).
  • Entry Requirements:
  • Graduated from high school, GPA >= 7.0;
  • IELTS 6.0 (no band score below 6.0).

Undergraduate Program

  • Course duration: 3 years (standard), 2 years (accelerated).
  • Entry Requirements:
  • Graduated from high school, GPA >= 8.0;
  • IELTS 6.0 (no band score below 6.0).

Postgraduate Program 

  • Course duration: 6 months (2 semesters).
  • Entry Requirements:
  • University graduate or have work experience in the field you want to study;
  • Good at reading, writing, and communication skills;
  • IELTS 6.5 (no band score below 6.0).

Note: If students do not have the required IELTS score, they can register for English courses at La Trobe

Scholarships

  • The Destination Australia Scholarship is worth AUD 15,000/year for prospective La Trobe students who meet the school's requirements.
  • Southeast Asia scholarship worth 30% of tuition fee for prospective students with high academic results.
