General Introduction
Massey University, also known as Massey University, was established in 1927 as one of the cradles of educational training for students with more than 80 years of experience. It is known that Massey has been honored as one of the three largest university training institutions in New Zealand. Entry Requirements
Foundation Program
- Program Pre Degree and Foundation Certificate in Academic English (UG DEEP): High school graduation; IELTS 5.0 (no band score below 5.0) or TOEFL iBT 61;
- Foundation Certificate in Advanced Academic English (PG DEEP): High school graduation; IELTS 5.5 (no band score below 5.5) or TOEFL iBT 70;
- Certificate in Foundation Studies (Full Foundation): High school graduation; IELTS 5.5 (no band score below 5.0) or TOEFL iBT 70;
- Certificate of University Preparation (CUP) Program (Fast-track Foundation): High school graduation; IELTS 6.0 (no band score below 5.0) or TOEFL iBT 80.
Undergraduate Program
- Graduated from high school with a GPA of 8.0 (or higher) or a freshman year of college with a GPA of 2.75 (or higher);
- Minimum IELTS 6.0 (no band score below 5.5).
Postgraduate Program
- Graduated from university with a related degree;
- IELTS 6.5 (no band score below 6.0).
Scholarships
To apply for the Massey University International Student Excellence Scholarship program worth up to NZD 25,000, applicants need to meet the following conditions:
- Being an international student;
- Enrolling in Massey University's bachelor's program for the first time;
- Signing up for a full-time course at an Albany, Manawatu, or Wellington campus, or online;
- Having an offer of admission before the scholarship deadline (June 10, 2021)- Duc Anh Company will support you to apply for this offer;
- Applying for the July 2021 intake.
Scholarships are considered on the following two most important criteria:
- Academic Qualification (GPA). Candidates applying for courses in the Creative Art field need to submit an additional portfolio;
- Letter of recommendation (written in English) from the principal or teacher of the school you are attending
- The value of the scholarship is up to NZD 25,000: NZD 10,000 for the first year of study (120 credits) and NZD 5,000 for each subsequent year. The condition to maintain the scholarship for the following years is a GPA above 5.0 (equivalent to level B).
