General Information
Swinburne University, also known as Swinburne Institute of Technology, was founded in 1908 in the suburbs of Melbourne, Hawthorn, by the Honorable George Swinburne. The strength of the school is its long history. The school has a history of development dating back more than 100 years. Initially, the school was named Swinburne Technical College, and then, in 1992, it officially became Swinburne University as it is today.

Facilities
Currently, Swinburne has 3 campuses in the most modern city of Melbourne in Australia. In addition, the school also invests significantly in refurbishing old equipment and upgrading new infrastructure, ensuring that it continues to provide the best quality courses and training. New buildings, including the Design Center and Distribution, cost $100 million. There is also Australia's first Intelligent Architecture Laboratory for structural engineering research.

Entry Requirements
- Graduated from high schools with a GPA in the 12th grade ≥ 7.0 (depending on a specific subject)
- IELTS ≥ 5.5 (no band less than 5.0) (Depending on specific discipline)
Scholarships
Swinburne University offers a variety of scholarships for international students:
- Swinburne International Excellence Undergraduate Scholarship: 10% – 75% off Bachelor’s course fees every year for a maximum of 5 years.
- Swinburne International Excellence Postgraduate Scholarship: 10% - 75% off your course fees every year for a maximum of two years.
- Swinburne International Excellence Pathway Scholarship: Fixed scholarship amount of $2500 a year off your course fees for a maximum of 2 years.
- Swinburne International Alumni Direct Scholarship: Up to A$38,000 or A$21,000 total, available for Undergraduate and Graduate programs.
