Tacoma Community College was established in 1965 and is located in the heart of Tacoma, 57 km from Seattle, Washington. This public university offers university transfer programs, specialized certificate programs, and six levels of English for academic purposes.

Programs and Courses
Students will earn an Associate Degree for university transfer after two years of study at TCC. Associate degrees are available in a variety of fields, including Business, Engineering, Computer Science, and Nursing.
English for Academic Purposes (EAP) programs help students enhance their English abilities and prepare them with study skills for success in the US academic environment.
Advanced EAP courses award college credit, which is directly applicable to an associate's degree. Students can sign up for joint classes to connect an EAP course with a Foundation class at the school.
