Required documents to apply for Thailand Student Visa

To apply for a student visa to study abroad in Thailand, you need to prepare the following documents:

• Passport (valid for more than 6 months)
• Visa application form
• 1 recent photo (4X6)
• Introducing letter
• Letter of acceptance from the school/ institution
• Transcript and student card (If still studying)
• High school diploma with high school transcripts (for Undergraduate programs)
• University degree along with university transcripts (for Master's programs)
• Fee: about 80 USD

The Thailand student visa application process is pretty simple and fast. 

Where will the visa documents be submitted?

Students will apply for a Thailand student visa at the following locations:

• Thai Embassy in Hanoi (63-65, Hoang Dieu Street, Hanoi)
• Royal Thai Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh city (77 Tran Quoc Thao, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City) 

Thailand student visa approval time

From 1-2 days. The Visa processing fee is about 70-80 USD and the success rate is almost 100%.

Thailand student visa does not require financial proof and is valid for 90 days. Within these 90 days, students need to register and pay tuition fees for the respective semester. After that, you can apply to extend your visa right in Thailand.
