University of New South Wales (UNSW) was established in 1949-one of the top universities in Research and Teaching in Australia and also one of the only 3 schools of Australia belonging to the Association of the most prestigious universities in the world. Located in Sydney, Australia, the school is ranked in the top 50 universities in the world and top international training with the number of international students at the school accounting for 34%.

General introduction 

The University of New South Wales belongs to the best eight universities in Australia training undergraduate, postgraduate, and research programs. The main campus is located in Kensington, 7km from the city center of Sydney. We always keep relationships with 300 partner universities around the world so that the university has attracted more than 52,000 students, including 14,000 international students from 120 countries.

Facilities

Since 2015, the university has invested up to 350 million USD in research facilities. UNSW students are provided with the best learning conditions such as specialized classrooms, exhibition halls, studios, printing rooms, and computer labs. A large campus, each major will own a separate building, creating an airy and efficient study space.

Cost of study

Tuition:

• Undergraduate: 33,744 AUD – 73,936 AUD/year, depending on the major
• Postgraduate: AUD 29,808 – AUD 66,032/year, depending on the major

Housing cost:

• Dormitory: 450 – 700 AUD/week (single room); 130 - 250 AUD/week (shared room)
• Homestay: 235 – 325 AUD/week.

Food costs: 80 – 280 AUD/week, depending on the needs and eating habits of each person.

Entry requirements

Bachelor:

• Entrance Requirements: Graduates from Vietnamese high schools with 12th grade GPA ≥ 8.0 (depending on the specific subjects)
• English language requirements: IELTS ≥ 6.5 (no band less than 6.0)

After university:

• Entrance Requirements: University graduates with a GPA of at least 60% or higher.
• English language requirements: IELTS ≥ 6.5 (no band less than 6.0)

Scholarships

UNSW offers many scholarships for international students:

• International Scientia Coursework Scholarships reduce 100% tuition fee or provide 20,000 AUD per year for individuals with high achievements in learning, leadership, and community activities.
• Australian Global University Award is worth 5,000 - 10,000 AUD for individuals with high academic achievement.
