Thompson River University
Thompson River University belongs to the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU). Currently, the university has over 20,000 students enrolled, including over 3,500 international students from over 100 countries.
General introduction
Thompson Rivers University was founded in 1970 in Kamloops city, Canada. The school is one of the largest public schools in Canada with more than 200 graduate, bachelor's, certificate, college preparatory programs to ESL programs, online education. as well as ESL programs and online education. The government recognizes the university as one of Canada's largest comprehensive universities.

Facilities
The university has two main campuses located in the south of British Columbia:
- Kamloops Campus: The campus is 250 hectares wide located in the southwest of the city, it takes 1.5 hours from Kelowna, 3.5 hours from Vancouver and about a day's drive to Calgary, Prince George, Victoria, or Seattle.
- Dormitory:
- North Tower Residence: The dormitory consists of 11 buildings with a view of the whole city, which has a total capacity of 570 students. Especially, these buildings have a view of the whole city.
- McGill Residence: The dormitory is located on the south side of the school, it is able for 302 students with 4-bedrooms.
- East Village: Can include 250 students
- William Lake Campus: Located in the Cariboo center with new facilities, small class sizes, and lower costs.

Scholarship value: From 1,000 – 3,000 CAD/year for colleges, universities, and postgraduate.
