University of Canberra College (UC College)
A College may be the first step that you need to achieve the University in Australia and it takes a lot of effort to do this. General introduction
The University of Canberra College was established by the Australian Government and the University of Melbourne in 1930. In the beginning, most of the students there were public officials and all were part-time citizens. The school continued to operate until 1960 when it was merged into the Australian National University as the School of General Studies.

Times Higher Education has named the university top 300 universities in the world. The school currently has more than 16,000 students enrolled. At the latest global ranking, THE has placed UC in the top 10 Australian universities. UC is also ranked in the top 200 universities in the world.

UC College has pathways for both international and domestic students. These programs cater to students who are not currently eligible for University by traditional entry points. UC College programs focus on English and academic skills for direct entry to University. Foundation programs for International Students include:
- The University of Canberra International Foundation Studies is a pre-university program designed to prepare you for the first year of a University of Canberra bachelor's degree program.
- Our diplomas prepare you for university and count towards the first year of some bachelor's degrees at the University of Canberra.
- The Graduate Certificate in Academic Foundations is a pathway course designed to place students in Master's Programs at the University of Canberra (UC).
- The school's Intensive Studies programs teach English and allow for getting credits even while studying at home.
School trains in Art and Design, Business, Government and Law, Education, Health, Science and Technology.

Entry requirements
The curriculum of UC College is presented in English, so candidates wishing to enter need to be able to understand English. Candidates can demonstrate their competence with IELTS certificates or use equivalent methods such as:
- International Foundation Degree - 5.5 overall with no skill less than 5.0
- Certificate Program – 5.5 overall with no skill less than 5.5
- Postgraduate Academic Foundation Certificate – overall score of 6.0 with no band below 6.0.

This is a scholarship program worth AUD 2,500 deducted from tuition fees, for high-achieving candidates enrolled in a university certificate course.
Cultural Diversity Scholarship
This is a scholarship program worth 2,000 AUD for all students whose tuition fees, open to meet the program's conditions.
ELICOS tuition reduction
This is a scholarship program worth 10% deducted from ELICOS weekly fee for a package enrollment program, open to students from Europe, Cambodia, Japan, India, Malaysia, Laos, Thailand Lan, Korea, and Vietnam. There is also a 20% scholarship program for Central American and Latin American students.
