Western Sydney College is a college affiliated with Western Sydney University, also known as The College, which allows students to study preparatory programs Foundation Studies, Diploma and English to transfer to the prestigious University of Western Sydney. 

General introduction

Western Sydney University International College is an exceptional institution, located in Parramatta, a vibrant suburban city in the Greater Sydney area. Upon successful completion of a pre-university program, students are guaranteed entry into a bachelor's degree program at Western Sydney University. Similar to Western Sydney University students, International College students also have full use of the school's support services and facilities during their studies.

The university has 8 campuses across Australia, all of which have libraries, computer labs, space science labs, wifi, coffee, gym, bar. All are covered in large field space.

  • Campbelltown Campus: located in historic Macarthur, balancing city and country life.
  • Hawkesbury Campus: located in Richmond in the Hawkesbury River Valley, north of Sydney, in a stunning location at the foot of the Blue Mountains.
  • Nirimba Campus: located at Quakers Hill west of Sydney.
  • Parramatta Campus: the campus is a mix of traditional and modern buildings.

Foundation programs - these are courses designed to facilitate university entry, for international applicants who have completed Australian Year 11 or equivalent.

Information and communications technology

Cost of study

  • Tuition: From 20,000 to 41,790 AUD
  • Homestay: 1,200 - 1,500 AUD/month
  • Insurance: 530 - 630 AUD/year

Entry Requirements

  • Have an international English certificate equivalent to IELTS 5.5 (Writing score >= 5.0)
  • Have a certificate of PTE 58+ (Writing score >= 50);

Scholarships

  • Vice-Chancellor Scholarship: 50% first-year scholarship for students with IELTS (Academic) 7.0 (scores not less than 6.0) or TOEFL iBT 94 (Writing: 24, Speaking: 18, Reading: 18 and Listening: 18) or have a Placement test result of 82% or equivalent and have a Grade 12 GPA of 8.5 or higher.
  • Dean Scholarship: 30% first-year scholarship for students with IELTS (Academic) 6.5 (scores not less than 6.0), TOEFL iBT 82 (Writing: 21, Speaking: 18, Reading: 13 and Listening: 13) or have 80% Placement test results or equivalent (*) and have a grade 12 GPA of 8.0 or higher.
