The Institute was established in 1940, the main campus of William Angliss is located in the center of Melbourne. The Institute has built a strong reputation in the world for 80 years by providing creative teaching methods and consulting service for the customer in Australia and other countries.

William Angliss Institute was founded in Melbourne and has been providing world-class hospitality training for more than 75 years. William Angliss is well-known throughout the city and beyond for directing highly skilled graduates and stirring their passion in this dynamic industry. Moreover, the Institute  also features fully furnished and equipped facilities to enhance students’ learning. 

William Angliss annually receives more than 24.000 registrations, 2000 out of them coming from 40 different countries, which creates a multicultural environment on the campus. 

• One-year paid internship at a 5-star hotel. During studying theory, students can work part-time 40 hours in 2 weeks. Moreover, there are opportunities for undergraduates to stay and work for 2 years.
• 91.7% of undergraduates found a job within 6 months and study further

Facilities

Melbourne campus is at the commercial center on La Trobe street. Many years later, more campuses appeared in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide và Perth, four joint-venture campuses in China, a corporating campus in Sri Lanka, and a Center for Continuing Education & Training in Tourism (CET) in Singapore. 

The outstanding features of the Institute’s facility are 11 high-end commercial training kitchens, 110 classrooms, open green space, study resources center and academic library, Hotel and lodging management training center - The Hotel School, coffee academy, chocolate lab and food technology lab next to the show theater and convention center. Particularly, the opportunity to work in two Angliss restaurants, coffee shops, and bakeries, is an exclusive benefit for students.

Programs and Courses

William Angliss Academy now offers a wide range of training programs at the certificate, certification, advanced diploma and undergraduate levels. Depending on individual needs, students can choose to major in Culinary, Hospitality, Tourism, and Events.

Tuition Fees:

• Undergraduate: 55.920 AUD – 80.620 AUD, depending on the major
• Certificate: 16.400 AUD – 36.100 AUD, depending on the major
• Certification: 8.200 AUD – 37.200 AUD, depending on the major

Living expenses

• Living: 18.610 AUD/year
• Homestay: 9.600 AUD/year

Entry Requirements

Bachelor:

• Entry Requirements: Vietnamese high school students complete grade 12 with GPA ≥6.0 
• English requirement: IELTS 6.0 (no band less than 5.5)

Certificate:

• Entry Requirements: Vietnamese high school students complete grade 12 with GPA  ≥5.0
• English requirements: IELTS ≥ 5.5 (no band less than 5.0)

Certification:

• Entry requirements: Vietnamese high school students complete grade 11
• English requirements: IELTS ≥ 5.5 (no band less than 5.0)

Scholarships

• William Angliss Academy usually offers annual scholarships to international students
• The Medical Alliance International Merit Scholarship for international students continuing or commencing on-campus courses values AUD2,500 (in Victoria)
• The Sir William Angliss International Merit Scholarship for international students continuing their studies at the university is worth 2,500 AUD (in Victoria and New South Wales)
• The Memorial Fund Scholarship for international students continuing their studies at the university is worth 3,000 AUD (in Victoria and New South Wales).
