Regulations to remember while studying in Singapore 

Students can only work if they have written approval from the Immigration Department of Singapore. However, you are allowed to work based on school regulations if you are taking full-time courses at public colleges or public universities. Remember to read carefully the regulations of your school to avoid violations. 

Tips for studying abroad in Singapore

Public transportations in Singapore are extremely cheap: As an international student, you should use an EZ-Link card to save money. This card is valid for 5 years and you can get it at TransitLink ticket offices for 12 SGD, or at 7-Eleven convenience stores for 10 SGD, which is equivalent to about 170,000-200,000 VND. Each trip costs about 0.77-2.02 SGD depending on the distance, which is about 13,000-35,000 VND, saving a lot compared to the normal ticket price: between 1.4-2.5 SGD, equivalent to about 26,000-42,000 VND.
