Singapore Student Visa Policy

Visa procedures like other English-spoken nations are not required for students while studying in Singapore. However, international students have to assign a Student Pass procedure at the ICA Singapore Immigration Department in order to permanently reside in Singapore during the course of study. Student Pass is considered to be the  “passport” that allows Vietnamese students to reside and study in Singapore according to the time limitation on Student Pass. Depending on the course which has been assigned, the Student Pass has different durations including long-term and short-term.

Financial proofing is not required while studying abroad in Singapore. However, students still need to have a clear financial sponsorship and financial ability to afford the course which has been assigned. 

In addition, students also need to have an above-average learning capacity, have English proficient using skills at an acceptable rate, the study process is clear, have a reasonable study plan, and good immigration history.
