- Visa application and related documents
- CAS and related qualifications and transcripts
- Proof of finance
- Certificate of tuberculosis examination (if the course is longer than 6 months)
- And other documents required by UKBA at the time of application.
Incomplete records, false information
- A fundamental mistake that students often make is not preparing a visa application in advance. Because the documents should be prepared at least 3 months in advance to avoid the visa delay. Besides, advance preparation will also allow you to submit your application for a second time if your first visa application got rejected.
- However, full preparation has always been a problem for students due to lack of experience and experience about the visa application process and procedures.
- Students' visas may be refused because of not having enough required documents such as diplomas, transcripts, IELTS certificates or simply the information on the admission confirmation letter (CAS) is incorrect. It means that students did not meet the requirements and caused the loss of time for UK visa processing officers.
Unsatisfactory financial status
- The most important factor in getting a student visa is proof of finance, which shows that you are capable of studying in the UK for the duration of the course.
- There are basic errors such as unsatisfactory passbooks: the bank balance confirmation is more than one month before the visa application day and is issued when the savings account is not enough at least 28 days. In addition, the sponsor should provide all original documents capable of proving the person’s source of income, including the following documents: savings books, business papers, working papers, papers about the lease or transfer of property, property ownership papers/ other assets, papers of capital contribution,...
Unsatisfactory interview
- International students applying for a visa to the UK face the requirement to undergo a mandatory interview test, administered by the UK Border Agency (UKBA). If there are signs of lies in the paperwork or fail to express their desire to study in the UK and fail to pass basic conversation English tests, they may be denied. Students who are unable to come for an interview will also be denied entry into the UK if they fail to provide a convincing reason.
- Participating in an interview without knowing information about the courses, schools, housing in the UK or giving false information, answering interviews after learning parrot-fashion, may lead to a visa denial. The interview questions relate to simple issues such as student information, study goals and the ability to meet the requirements for proof of finance while studying in the UK. The goal of the interview is to test whether students' honesty and English proficiency meet immigration law. To pass this interview, students need to be well prepared, have thorough study goals and plans, answer questions clearly, avoid using simple "Yes" answers or "No", especially to be honest when responding to interviews.
