Singapore Government Full Scholarship

The scholarship is for full-time undergraduate courses at one of the following Singapore universities: Nanyang Technological University, National University of Singapore, or Singapore Management University. Students applying for the scholarship can apply for any field of study, except Medicine, Dentistry, Architecture and Law. The study period can last 3 or 4 years depending on the industry.

Scholarships are awarded based on the candidate's academic performance and through public examination.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

•  Currently a first or second-year university student at a university in Vietnam or a 12th-grade student who will take the high school graduation exam next year;
•  Have an excellent academic record and a good command of English.

This scholarship covers tuition fees for the duration of your studies, a living allowance of $4,300 per year, accommodation allowance based on the room rate at each university, and round-trip airfare from Vietnam to Singapore. and vice versa. There are no binding conditions for students awarded the Singapore scholarship. Students awarded this scholarship will return home after graduation to contribute to the development of their country.

Shortlisted candidates will have to sit for entrance exams to Singapore's universities. Candidates will be further selected based on the results of the entrance exam and will have to attend an interview round organized by the aforementioned universities.

ASEAN Singapore High School Scholarship

The purpose of the ASEAN scholarship program is to create conditions for excellent students from ASEAN countries to develop their talents and have well-preparation when entering the new millennium.

ASEAN scholarship winners will study at schools selected by the Singapore Ministry of Education. The Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training will select middle school students with outstanding achievements for this scholarship program. Students who apply for the ASEAN scholarship if they fail to do so will be considered for a Merit scholarship (excellent students whose profile has not yet met the requirements of the ASEAN scholarship program may be considered for a Merit scholarship. – scholarship worth S$1,000/year).

Every year, at the end of April – the beginning of May, students will start applying for scholarships. July and August is the time to select and interview qualified applicants. The list of students who passed the qualifying round and the interview round will be officially announced in September. Scholarship winners will complete the procedures and enroll in Singapore at the end of October.

Requirements to apply for the Singapore ASEAN Scholarship

Students aged 14-16, who have Vietnamese nationality, graduated from high school, have excellent academic records, good English communication ability can apply for the ASEAN high school scholarship program.

Scholarship Value

Full scholarship for the whole study period including tuition fees, accommodation, and settlement allowance ($1,000 when applying to study in Singapore – this fee will be paid to the Ministry of Education of Singapore) and equivalent living expenses of $2,200/year (for high school level), and $2,400/year (for pre-university level).

Every 2 years, students will be supported with round-trip airfare to Vietnam once.

There are no mandatory terms attached to the scholarship program. In addition to the ASEAN scholarship program of the Ministry of Education of Singapore, two long-standing universities of Singapore: NUS, NTU also annually offer attractive scholarship programs for students from Southeast Asian countries in ASEAN.

Exam subjects of the ASEAN scholarship

•  Math: you should review grade 8 and 9 math with both complete solutions and multiple choice. Carefully read the title.
• English: multiple-choice exam, pay attention to vocabulary.
• IQ: can be consulted at www.iqtest.com

Exam locations in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. HCM. Only selected people will be able to take the exam and interview, the results will be returned to the registered student's email.
